Topics Discussed
  Advertising
Discussed ideas for advertising the club's presence on each of the campuses. Some ideas included advertising in the campus newspaper, putting flyers up around campus, hosting demonstration nights, creating and wearing TShirts and Jackets with the club logo on them.

  Getting Equipment
Some member schools already have accounts set up with Century Martial Arts for discounts on uniforms, belts, and sparring gear. Schools were encouraged to work together to maximize discounts for equipment orders.

  Class Schedules
Melissa collected information from each of the school representatives that were present to update the class schedules listed on each school page. Sunday classes were reccommended for getting in an additional night of training, should the students want one. There is also a Sunday training with Sensei Tabata every Sunday from 12-2pm at Hill Hall - Tufts University.

  Fall Schedule
The tournament will be hosted by Boston College. The planned date is either the weekend of November 19th or the weekend of December 3rd. Check the events schedule page for more information. The hosting school will have a 50% discount on all entrance fees for the tournament. Sensei has limited the age of competitors to 18 and up. The tournament will be open to all interested - competitors do not have to be NECKC or NAKF members, nor do they have to practice Shotokan. A tournament committe was formed for later planning of the tournament.

Kata Clinics will be held as a single seminar weekend, as opposed to every weekend in the fall. The schedule and more details can be found on the seminar page.

Special Training is making a return this fall. It will be hosted at UMass Lowell. Check the Special Training page for more information.
